Transfer Degrees

Begin Your College Journey at COTC
Then transfer your credits to a four-year university

Overview

Many students want to pursue a bachelor’s degree but choose to begin their college education by completing a transfer degree at a community college.  Transfer degrees, such as the Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science, are designed to allow students to begin their bachelor’s degree and transfer their courses to a four-year university to continue their education.

COTC, as a technical and community college, offers several transfer degree options, along with flexible scheduling, small class sizes close to home, all at an affordable cost. Hear from a COTC graduate, who completed a transfer degree and went on to attend a four-year university.

If you are considering a career in the arts, we recommend pursuing an Associate of Arts degree to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.
