The Addiction Studies Certificate program prepares individuals to work in an entry-level position in many community health programs. Coursework includes training in how to assist individuals and families with a variety of issues arising from addiction problems.
Behavioral and Mental Health Technician
Short-Term Certificate
Psychiatric technicians and aides care for people who have mental illness and developmental disabilities. Technicians typically provide therapeutic care and monitor their patients’ conditions. Aides help patients in their daily activities and ensure a safe, clean environment. They are employed in hospitals, community mental health centers, psychiatric clinics, social service agencies and geriatric nursing homes.
Bookkeeping
Short-Term Certificate
Students who choose to study bookkeeping within the accounting technology program at COTC gain knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment as a bookkeeper. Bookkeepers record financial transactions such as purchases, sales and payments for a person or business/organization.

Associate of Applied Business
The Associate of Applied Business in Business Management Technology at COTC is a fully accredited online program. Students will take a variety of courses in the areas of human resources, marketing, management and entrepreneurship to prepare for today’s business world.
Case Management for the Healthcare and Gerontology Professional
Short-Term Certificate
Case managers typically work as part of a team to assess, plan, coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate options and services to meet people’s health and human service needs.
