It’s never too late to achieve your dream!
Whether you want to pick up where you left off or are thinking about trying something new, we are excited to welcome you back to COTC.
Follow the steps below to get started:
Step 1: Reapply
- If you have not taken classes with COTC for a year or more, create an application account and complete a new application. Apply now!
- If you have previously applied and/or attended COTC, you may not need to create an account. You can simply sign in with your email and password.
- If you have taken classes with COTC within the last year, please contact your assigned academic advisor.
Step 2: Complete Online Orientation
All returning students who have not taken classes with COTC in the last year are required to complete COTC’s online orientation. Once you apply to COTC, you will receive emails about accessing your COTC account and completing online orientation.
Step 3: Student Financial Services
- We encourage you to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA helps determine your eligibility for grants, loans and scholarships at COTC. Complete the FAFSA now!
- If you plan to pay out of pocket, please contact Student Financial Services at 740.366.9435 as soon as you are registered for classes.

Step 4: Submit Transcripts
- You may already have transcripts on file. Check with COTC Admissions at cotcadmissions@mail.cotc.edu to find out.
- If you have taken classes at another college since you last attended COTC, please have your previous college send transcripts. Official transcripts can be sent electronically from the issuing institution’s approved third-party vendor to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu, or official transcripts can be mailed by the issuing institution (or their approved third-party vendor) to:

Step 5: Connect with your Enrollment Navigator
You will be assigned an Enrollment Navigator upon completion of online orientation. Your Enrollment Navigator will contact and guide you through your next steps.
