Military, Veteran and Dependent Educational Benefits

There are several federal and state of Ohio VA Education Benefits available for COTC students depending on military branch and length of service. The COTC veteran and military team are here to help you determine the best option available for you based on your current military status, career and future education goals.

Air Force GEM Program

Central Ohio Technical College is a proud partner in the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program. As part of the GEM program, COTC offers general education courses to active duty airmen and guardians who are pursuing their associate degree through the CCAF.

Veterans Lounge

Visit our new veterans lounge in Warner Center 205E. The lounge is open during regular building hours, typically 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday during the semester. The space is open to all student veterans, current military and their families, but requires a code. Contact Stephanie Rowland in the Office of Student Life for details.
