Book Signing with Local Author
Utica resident and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) alumnus Dan Long Jr. is the author of two fiction books. The first, The Conflict Within: The Second American Civil War, was released in 2017 for young adults. The second, The Season of Change, was released earlier this year. He will hold a book signing for both books on Jan. 10, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the college’s Newark campus.
COTC Website Wins Regional Design Award
Central Ohio Technical College was recently awarded a 2021 silver Medallion award for its website. The Medallions, awarded by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR), recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges in each of NCMPR’s seven districts. COTC was awarded the silver Medallion in NCMPR’s District 3, which includes community and technical colleges in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario.
