Health Services Technology
Associate of Applied Science
The health services technology associate degree program is designed to provide skills and experiences essential for those who desire a career in health services by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth through knowledge-based learning, experiential processes, community involvement and practical experiences under direct supervision of professionals in each respective field.
Why choose COTC?
Flexibility
Students in the health services technology program can choose from several areas of study.
Federal Work Study
Get a job on campus
Federal Work-Study is a Federal Student Aid program that gives students with financial need an opportunity to work part-time on a COTC campus. Federal Work Study allows students to earn money to help pay education expenses while in college.
Graduating Senior Information
CCP Scholarship
CCP students who are graduating seniors and have completed a minimum of 3 credit hours with COTC can be awarded $1,500 for two semesters each academic year for a total annual award of $3,000. Students must enroll at COTC in the autumn or spring semester immediately after high school graduation. The scholarship is renewable until students complete their first associate degree. Students must also have and maintain a minimum COTC 2.0 GPA.
Transferring COTC Courses
Students may wonder how their CCP courses completed with COTC will transfer to other colleges. CCP courses transfer better for students who plan to attend an Ohio public college/university after high school graduation. Private and out-of-state colleges and universities can choose whether to accept CCP course credits.
Here are some resources to help better understand how COTC courses might transfer.

Student Ambassador Program
Student Ambassador Application
Student Ambassadors serve to set the tone for prospective students and their families. They guide, direct, inform and teach prospective students what to expect from campus life. In addition, Student Ambassadors serve as special event assistants representing the student and broader communities. Concerts, grand openings, alumni events, new student orientations, conferences, hosting campus VIPs, etc. constitute examples of special events in which the student ambassadors should engage.
