New Board Member Announced
Andrew Guanciale is the newest member of the Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) fiduciary board of trustees. He was appointed on March 9, and his term will expire on Sept. 30, 2025.

Central Ohio’s emergence as a semiconductor hub, fueled by the arrival of Intel in Licking County, presents an exciting opportunity for people of all backgrounds aspiring to pursue a career in this rapidly evolving industry. As the community continues to grow, COTC will ensure a ready pipeline of skilled technicians to support area manufacturers at Intel, its suppliers and other advanced manufacturing firms.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the home healthcare provider program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of human body structure and function.
- Describe safe medication practices for the elderly client.
- Identify safety considerations for care of the medically complex child in the home care setting.
- Discuss effective strategies for promoting wellness and quality of life for the older adult.

Associate of Arts
If you are considering a career in the arts, we recommend pursuing an Associate of Arts degree to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. The Associate of Arts degree requires completion of more arts and humanities courses, such as English and Philosophy (and fewer math and science courses).
