Associate of Applied Business
One-Year Certificate

Central Ohio has become a major distribution hub for multiple large businesses, including Amazon, FedEx, Kohls, Intel and other suppliers/manufacturers. In order to prepare graduates for the logistics and supply chain management environment, COTC has developed a one-year certificate and an associate degree to address the need for trained, educated employees to support the major distribution growth occurring in Central Ohio.

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of the phlebotomy program, the graduate will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of human body structure, function and pathology.
  2. Perform venipuncture andmicro-skinn puncture procedures safely.
  3. Maintain and evaluate patient sample integrity.
  4. Demonstrate a professional attitude in appearance, work ethic and laboratory safety.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to quality assurance procedures.
