The HESI A2 stands for the Health Education Systems, Inc., Admissions Assessment. HESI serves as the entrance exam for COTC’s health-related programs.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology
Ohio’s first and only accelerated bachelor’s degree.
Prepare for a career as a registered sonographer with COTC’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology (BAS in DMS). The BAS in DMS incorporates the highly regarded curriculum of our former associate degree program with advanced training in special modalities, giving graduates a competitive edge in the job market.
Application deadline: May 1. Classes start autumn semester.
President’s and Dean’s Honors Lists
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) has released the President’s Honors List and the Dean’s Honors List for summer semester 2022 to recognize students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA)
Short-Term Certificate
This certificate program trains certified dental assistants in the art of restorative dentistry. Graduates are eligible to sit for the EFDA exam through the Commission on Dental Testing. EFDAs perform advanced remediable intra-oral dental procedures (sealants and fillings) under the supervision of a licensed dentist.

The EFDA certificate is offered
through a partnership with Career and Technology Education
Centers of Licking County (CTEC). Students enroll at COTC
and take classes at CTEC’s campus:
