Employee Resource Group Guidelines
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-initiated groups of The Ohio State University at Newark and/or Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) faculty and staff who share common interests, issues, backgrounds, characteristics or pursuits. Ohio State Newark/COTC recognizes and supports ERGs organized around the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, language, region of origin, life stage, physical challenge and sexual orientation.

COTC healthcare programs are selective, competitive-entry programs. Students interested in pursuing a healthcare program at COTC are required to attend an information meeting to learn about the program, including application requirements.

This meeting is required for anyone who intends to enroll in associate degree nursing (ADN), licensed practical nursing to ADN, paramedic to ADN or practical nursing certificate.

There’s no question that when we find a space that is accessible, welcoming and inclusive, we feel free to live our best lives and do our best work. But sometimes it’s hard to know how to get there — or how to create those spaces for others whose experiences are different from our own. At the 13th Annual Community Intercultural Relations Conference, participants will explore ways to identify the barriers and biases that hinder those creative spaces.
