College Credit Plus

If you’re a high school student now

College Credit Plus (CCP) is an opportunity to earn both high school and college credits at the same time — at no cost to you. Students who are eligible to participate in CCP can pursue, and in some cases complete, a certificate or an associate degree while in high school.

Student Loan Counseling

Students who borrow from the Federal Direct Loan Program are required to complete Entrance and Exit Counseling. These sessions are required by Federal Regulations and offer information relating to the terms and conditions of the loan programs and a student’s obligation when borrowing. The Office of Financial Aid is notified electronically when students have completed the required counseling.

Verification Forms

Students who apply for federal financial aid may be selected for a process called verification and must submit documents to confirm the information reported on the FAFSA is accurate. Students should respond quickly to any request for information from Student Financial Services and be certain that their name and COTC seven-digit ID number are clearly printed on all documents.

Barker Alumni Community Service Award Recipients

​​​​The John C. “Jay” Barker Alumni Community Service Award was created in 2013 by the COTC Alumni Council and is presented annually at the July 3rd Independence Day concert and fireworks to recognize COTC alumni who have made a significant impact by their service to the betterment of our community.​ ​The inaugural award was presented posthumously in July 2014 to John C. “Jay” Barker and named in his honor.

Plans of Study

All academic certificates and degrees at COTC have a plan of study that outline what courses need to be taken. Plans of study are reviewed annually and are updated as-needed to remain current and in line with industry standards, the job market and to meet regulatory/accreditation requirements. 

Students who wish to use financial aid must be certificate or degree seeking and be enrolled in a plan of study to use financial aid.

Intramural Sports

Intramural sports provide an opportunity for students of all skill levels to stay active and compete weekly with other students. Participation is open to all COTC students, faculty and staff. 

All intramural participants will be required to create an account with IMLeagues. You can do this by clicking the Register Now button. 

Register Now

To create an IMLeagues account:

  1. Go to IMLeagues.
  2. Enter your information, and use your school email (@cotcmail.cotc.edu) and submit.
  3. You will be sent an activation email, click the link in the email to login and activate your IMLeagues account.
  4. You should be automatically joined to your school – If not you can search schools by clicking the Schools link.

Note: IMLeagues offers a live support button in the bottom right corner of all pages, please use this button if you encounter any difficulties.

How to sign up for an intramural sport:

  1. Log into your IMLeagues.com account.
  2. Click the Get Involved button at the top right of your user homepage OR Click on the OSU and Central Ohio Technical College link at the top to go to your school’s homepage on IMLeagues.
  3. The current sports will be displayed, click on the sport your will to join.
  4. Choose the league you wish to play in (Men’s, Women’s, Co-Rec, etc…)
  5. Choose the division you’d like to play in (Monday 5 p.m., Tuesday 5 p.m., etc…)
  6. You can join the sport one of three ways:
    1. Create a team (For team captains)
      1. Captains can invite members to their team by clicking Team Options and then Invite Members link on the team page. Any invited members must accept the invitation to be joined to your team.
        1. If they have already registered on IMLeagues: search for their name and invite them
        2. If they haven’t yet registered on IMLeagues: scroll down to the Invite by Email Address box, and input their email address. Join a team
    2. Join a team
      1. Find existing teams on the league page and click the Join Team button to send a request to join at team.
      2. Accepting a request from the captain to join their team.
      3. Finding the team and captain name on division/league page and requesting to join.
      4. Going to the captain’s player card page, viewing his teams, and requesting to join
    3. Join as a Free Agent
      1. You can list yourself as a free agent in as many divisions within a league as you’d like. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.
