Kona Ice Truck
To celebrate the first day of classes, Kona Ice will be on campus to offer fun, frozen treats for students, faculty & staff. Participants will need to present their school ID before approaching the ordering window and then they will be presented a snow cone with the flavor of their choice. Limit one per person.

SJCE Certificate Program Description
SJCE is a certificate earning program for all students interested in enhancing their college experience through co-curricular involvement focused on diversity, social justice and leadership. SJCE provides diversity training through flexible, engaging, and experiential learning and serves as a unique way of supporting student identity and interpersonal development. Earning a SJCE certificate is a great way for students to show future employers or graduate/professional schools that they had a vested interest in diversity and social justice during their time at Ohio State Newark.
COTC to Offer Practical Nursing Certificate in Mount Vernon Summer Semester

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) will begin offering its in-demand practical nursing certificate at the college’s Knox campus in downtown Mount Vernon this summer. Classes will start on May 16. The practical nursing certificate program can be completed in one year (three semesters). Graduates of the program are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
COTC Honors Coshocton Resident Marion Sutton with Legends of Loyalty Award
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) recognized Coshocton resident Marion Sutton with the college’s Legends of Loyalty award during a recent Coshocton Campus Town Hall and presidential reception celebrating COTC’s 50th Anniversary. The Legends of Loyalty award, the highest honor bestowed by the college, was established in 2011 to recognize individuals who have impacted the college through their selfless service and unwavering support. Sutton’s name will be added to a perpetual plaque that hangs in the Office of the President.
