Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-initiated groups of The Ohio State University at Newark and/or Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) faculty and staff who share common interests, issues, backgrounds, characteristics or pursuits. Ohio State Newark and COTC recognize and support ERGs organized around the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, language, region of origin, life stage, physical challenge and sexual orientation.

Each student receives four tickets that include the Great Pumpkin Fun Center. Student ID is required. Pick up tickets at Pigeon Roost Farms the Day of the event.

Regular admission to the college is open to all who have earned a high school diploma, completed homeschooling at the secondary level, or passed the General Education Development (GED) test. Applications are due one week prior to the start of the term or semester in which you plan to enroll.

Higher Education

COTC encourages faculty and staff to pursue higher education to enrich their lives and to develop the highest quality workforce. To support employees pursuing higher education, the college allows faculty and staff to enroll in college courses and/or degree-granting programs and provides tuition assistance for up to 10 credit hours of coursework per academic semester. The Teaching and Learning Center at COTC supports excellence in teaching and learning through a variety of professional development initiatives. COTC Premieres Viewpoint Feature and Launches New Mascot

On Wednesday, April 24, Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) hosted COTC Illuminated, an event which held the exclusive premiere of the Viewpoint television series featuring COTC, as well as the unveiling of the college’s new mascot.
