Philosophy: I believe academic advising is a partnership between the student and the advisor. Where both parties have individual responsibilities, but share one common goal. My responsibility as an advisor is to listen, provide insight and guidance along with encouragement and support to the students. The students will be able to take ownership of their journey and make informed decisions. The ultimate goal of an advising partnership is to empower the students to see their full potential and help them succeed academically.
