A message from the president
It is my pleasure to introduce our new
Strategic Plan for 2025-2029: “Catalysts in Action: Transforming
Lives and Building Communities.” This plan is the result of a
year-long collaborative effort involving input from faculty,
staff, students, community members, and the Board of Trustees.
Together, we have identified priorities and developed strategic
goals that build on our strong foundation of mission and vision.
Our Strategic Plan consists of two primary sections. The first outlines our mission, vision, purpose, hallmarks, and core values. The second details our priorities, goals, and key performance indicators. The goals included in the plan address strategic issues identified through the comprehensive plan development process and focus on workforce development, student success, partnership engagement, and organizational sustainability and growth.
For over 53 years, COTC has provided high-quality, accessible, and affordable education in Coshocton, Knox, and Licking Counties. As the region’s educational and workforce needs evolve, we remain dedicated to preparing our workforce for the in-demand jobs of today and the high-growth careers of tomorrow. Our plan affirms our commitment to student access, completion, and post-completion success, rooted in equitable access and continuous improvement.
This Strategic Plan will guide our efforts over the next five years, ensuring the continued success of our students and the communities we serve. I am confident that together, we will achieve our goals and realize the future of COTC.
