COTC Peace Office Basic Training Sessions Upcoming
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) will hold information sessions for anyone interested in becoming a peace officer in Ohio.
COTC’s peace officer basic training (POBT) is in the top two among open academies in the state. The next POBT academy begins autumn semester on August 25 and continues through spring semester at COTC’s Newark campus. Classes are typically held Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Attending a session is mandatory for anyone interested in applying for the program. Virtual information sessions will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, June 18, at 5 pm
Tuesday, June 23, at 10 am
Wednesday, July 1, at 10 am
Wednesday, July 8, at 5 pm
