COTC Premieres Viewpoint Feature and Launches New Mascot

On Wednesday, April 24, Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) hosted COTC Illuminated, an event which held the exclusive premiere of the Viewpoint television series featuring COTC, as well as the unveiling of the college’s new mascot.

Luconda and Joanne Dager of Velvet Ice Cream partnered with COTC to create a unique ice cream flavor in 2021 for the college’s 50th anniversary and then sweetened the partnership by announcing the creation of a new scholarship for COTC’s business students.

Central Ohio Technical College is a proud partner in the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program. As part of the GEM program, COTC offers general education courses to active duty airmen and guardians who are pursuing their associate degree through the CCAF.

Interested students may either attend a radiologic science technology information meeting on campus or complete the online radiologic science technology information course to learn about the radiologic science technology program at COTC and satisfy this requirement on the radiologic science technology program application.

An online radiologic science technology information course is available to anyone interested in the radiologic science technology program at COTC. This course will provide information and hopefully answer many of your questions on the radiologic science profession, program requirements and application process. The information course will take less than one hour to complete and can be accessed multiple times.
