Policies and Procedures

This document describes the policies and procedures for use of the Camlin-Tammen Reserve. This property consists of 31 acres of mature forest growth and is located west of the campus on Country Club Drive in Newark, Ohio.  This property is owned by Central Ohio Technical College but will be used to support teaching and research as a land laboratory for both COTC and The Ohio State University at Newark.

Andrew Guanciale headshot.

Guanciale is a Realtor with the Guanciale Group of Coldwell Banker Reality in Licking County. A native of Newark, Guanciale graduated from Newark Catholic High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Capital University. He is a third-generation real estate agent and has been with Coldwell Banker for more than 20 years.

20th Anniversary Black Heritage Gala

The Black Heritage Gala is led by students from Ohio State Newark and COTC and sponsored by Multicultural Affairs and the Black Student Association. The event includes dinner, student speakers, food, music, singing, poetry and more.

Multicultural Student Leadership Retreat

Location: Warner Center Performance Platform

This leadership retreat focuses on development theories while understanding inclusive concepts. Students will participate in an action planning session focusing on respect. 

Program is limited to 20 students. Registration required.

Food Vendors Wanted for Concert, Fireworks at Newark Campus

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark, with support from the J. Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks on July 3 at the shared Newark campus. The institutions are seeking food vendors to serve spectators at the event, which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people.
