Home school students must apply for funding through the state of Ohio to participate in CCP. Students must email a copy of their funding letter from the state to COTC at ccp@mail.cotc.edu

Home school students must also provide a copy of school district communication recognizing student eligibility for home school instruction as outlined in OAC 3301-34-04.

Policy changes have been made by the State of Ohio due to COVID-19. New students for the 20-21/21-22 school year are eligible to participate in CCP if they have a high school (unweighted) GPA of 3.0 or higher.

COTC is providing placement testing for students on a limited basis for eligibility and admission consideration to CCP. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we prefer to test students remotely; however, some on-campus testing is available if needed. Connect with an Admissions Representative to determine whether you need placement testing: ccp@mail.cotc.edu

Student Spotlight

Lexi King

Associate of Science

Lexi King

Lexi King is a high school senior that recently joined the ranks of COTC alumni. King attended COTC through College Credit Plus (CCP) and graduated with an Associate of Science this month, a few weeks before getting her high school diploma from East Knox High School.

“I’m really proud,” she said about her accomplishment. “In the beginning, I was a little hesitant because I was a [high school] junior going into college classes — a real college student. It’s a lot different than high school. The experience opened my eyes to what I can do.”
