Electrical Engineering Technology

Associate of Applied Science

Students who complete the Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology can pursue a career in a wide variety of industries. Many things rely on electrical engineering: computers, telephones, radio, television, radar and sonar, just to name some examples. Students will gain hands-on learning working with circuits and equipment in COTC’s engineering labs, but can also take some classes online.

Pre-Admission Course Requirements for DMSCV.AAS Program  

The Cardiovascular Major AAS program is a selection-based program, meaning a student must APPLY to the program and then be SELECTED into the program before being able to meet graduation requirements. The following COTC courses (or their equivalents) must be completed prior to being admitted into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. All courses must be completed with a grade of C (2.00) or better.

COTC Pataskala Campus Reopening for Classes in Autumn 2021

Expansion of In-Demand Healthcare and IT Programs

Central Ohio Technical College’s (COTC) Pataskala campus at 8660 E. Broad St. will reopen for classes in autumn 2021 after a $4.2 million renovation that will bring convenient, in-demand and affordable education leading to a career or bachelor’s degree to more central Ohio residents.

COTC offers some career-ready associate degrees and certificates in full at the Coshocton campus* through a combination of in-person and remote learning.** 

Individual general education courses for COTC’s 50+ programs or transfer-friendly credit to other state universities are also available.

Plus, high school students participate in our College Credit Plus program earning transfer-friendly college credit – some finishing a certificate or associate degree before they earn their high school diploma – and saving thousands on their college tuition.
